Clifford De Spenser

Graduated from Oxford University with a BA (Hons) in English Language and Literature. Received the Advanced Diploma in Voice Studies from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
Clifford is one of the UK’s foremost voice and dialect coaches.

Beginning with Peter Brook’s theatrical masterpiece The Mahabharata in 1987, Clifford has worked on and off sets on many major domestic and international film, television and theatre productions.

He is a specialist in effective spoken and written communication. Comprehensively skilled in voice, language and pronunciation training, with forty years experience within educational, professional and business environments.

He is much in demand for his combination of skills and extensive experience, which give him a unique insight into the spoken and written language, a broad cultural perspective and a flexible and practical approach to working with actors, directors, screenwriters, singers and producers.
Also much sought after at international film festivals and drama schools, sharing his experience and expertise with both established and up-and-coming film professionals and actors in the form of Masterclasses and practical workshops.

A personal voice coach to many of our finest actors. Both for auditions and the various film and theatre projects they are working on. He has his own production company Clemency Films.
