Jason Moore

Training: Arts Educational and City University.

Prior to becoming a director Jason was an actor, appearing as an original cast member in the West End including RSC’s Showboat, and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Joseph and His Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat both at the London Palladium. Jason also traveled worldwide as an actor in plays and musicals. In the last two years Jason has directed two new plays, Meet Me for the Holidays at the Hen and Chickens theatre and new version of A Christmas Carol in Norway which he also wrote.In 2022 Jason also directed Yasmina Reza’s God of Carnage at OSO Arts Centre, Landscape with Weapon by Joe Penhall at the Cockpit Theatre and Agatha Christie’s The Unexpected Guest at the Sidmouth Summer Play Festival. In 2023 he directed the UK Premiere of Nicolas Billon’s The Elephant Song at Park Theatre and Neil Simon’s classic California Suite and Geraldine Aron’s My Brilliant Divorce both at OSO Arts Centre. Jason will return to direct The Mating Game and Pack of lies for Paul Taylor Mills at the Summer Play Festival rep season in Sidmouth, and a new play Thought Virus at the Drayton Arms Theatre and Rope at The Union Theatre later in the year.

Jason has worked at theatres such as The Soho Theatre, The Charing Cross Theatre. Tristan Bates Theatre, The Project Theatre, Dublin, the Edinburgh Fringe etc. Jason is the co-founder of OnBook Theatre with designer and producer Ian Nicholas.
