
Raza is an award-winning writer, director, and producer based in Leeds, England but
available to work anywhere. Holding a BA in Business and a MA In Screenwriting from York
University.
● A Visionary Producer and Filmmaker
● Raza has produced a diverse range of projects, from independent films to TV. He
has been involved in raising feature film finance, compiling budgets, scheduling,
overseeing: prep, production and post production, preparing deliverables, dealing
with sales agents and distributors. Advising on marketing. A veteran of 12 years
attending Cannes, Berlinale, AFM and other festivals.
● His films, including Easy Money, Checkmate, Not By The Book, Demon Stalker have
garnered international acclaim, earning prestigious awards such as the Jury Grand
Prize in Amiens, the Bronze Dragon in Krakow, and the Prix De la Salamander in
France.
● Line Producer/Production Supervisor/ Unit Manager: Involvement in any of these
roles Raza’s expertise ensures seamless and effective operations on set and in the
overall machinery of filmmaking. In countless projects like Jailbroken, My Home, Low
Punches, Dumb Decisions, Help Wanted, Holding On To Nothing, demonstrates his
commitment to maintaining high standards.
● 1st Assistant Director (1st AD):As a 1st AD, Raza orchestrates the intricate
collaboration of cast, crew, and logistics on set. He has lent his organisational skills
and creative vision to many notable productions, including Wilfred, the BFI film True
Colours, and the feature films Amara plus and Letters For Lost Lovers, and Misty,
