Samuel is playing one of the main characters in the feature film Homesick, which is available on Amazon Prime UK/US as of March 2021.

His most recent stage work, wasplaying one of Charles Dickens’ most loved leading men, Pip, in Theatre Lab Company’s OffComm winning production of Great Expectations at The Playground Theatre London.

Previous to this he starred in the one man show Vivaldi Meets Werther: Four Seasons at the Bridewell Theatre. During this run Samuel performed sections of the performance live on BBC Radio 4 alongside the string quartet that accompanied the performance.

Touring Film Festivals around the world this year with the short film Plunge that he co-directed, co-wrote and acted in. He was recently awarded Best Director by the Top Indie Film Awards as well as commendations for Best Drama at both the New Renaissance Film Festival and the Winchester Film Festival. Samuel’s previous short films are Pay the Ferryman and the BFI Sci-Fi Fest finalist Weak Execution.

Television work include the BBC’s Great Expectations and the Doctor Who special An Adventure in Space and Time.

She also recently appeared the short film The Pride of Atticus Lee.

Lisa has recorded many plays for BBC Radios 3 & 4 and Independent Radio Drama Productions. Her most recent work has been playing the returning (controversial) character of Julianne Wright in BBC Radio 4’s The Archers through out 2022and also playing Mary Whitehouse in Radio 4’s Archive of 4: Disgusted: Mary Whitehouse. For the last 25 years, she has played the title role in the Doctor Who spin-off audio series Professor Bernice Summerfield, for Big Finish Productions, as well regular characters in their series of Sapphire & Steel and Jago & Litefoot, and many other guesting roles – most recently Regan in King Lear (with David Warner) and Caroline Louisa in Box of Delights.

She is also a prolific audio drama director, having directed many series for Big Finish Productions, and other companies; including an adaptation of H G Wells War of the Worlds titled The Coming of The Martians, starring Colin Morgan, for Sherwood Sound Studios and recently an adaptation of Dickens’ The Chimes, starring Toby Jones for Average Romp Ltd.

Carole’s most recent project has been Ashby’s Odyssey – a documentary which she co-produced and presented. It was a journey about self discovery, family history and mysteries. It had a sold-out premier at The Regent Street Cinema in the autumn 2019. She’s is currently looking to develop it as series. The documentary was directed by Graham Roos.

Carole has the rare distinction of being in two James Bond films: Octopussy in the role of the Octopussy Circus, and A View To A Kill as Papillon The Whistling Girl. Both films was directed by John Glen.

She was prominent in the long running BBC classic comedy series Allo’ Allo’, playing the rather wild Louise of the communist resistance from 1988 to 1992.

Vivian Pickles is widely regarded as one of the country’s finest actresses, who started early in the theatre acting opposite the likes of Charles Hawtrey. She began her career as a child star for a series of Saturday morning films. Playing the lead in 1944 in Jean’s Plan. In 1945, she appeared in the serial, The Adventures Of Peter Poe, and at the 14, she played Alice in the BBC’s Alice in Wonderland, which was George More O’Ferrall and broadcast live from Alexandra Palace in London.

She made her West End debut as Wee Willie Winkie in Land Of The Christmas Stocking at The Duke of York’s Theatre.

After completing her education at Le College Feminin de Bouffement in Paris, she started her adult acting career in repertory and progressed to featured roles in West End revues. She starred opposite Roger Moore in I Capture The Castle at The Aldwych Theatre. Sabrina Fair at The Palace Theatre, and toured the UK in Expresso Bongo. In a career that spanned seven decades, Peter Wyngarde™ played over 150 different characters, although it would be one particular persona that he’d ultimately be best remembered: Jason King – the writer-come-detective in the ITC series, ‘Department S’.

Prior to be cast as King, Peter had enjoyed a hugely successful stage and screen career, appearing alongside such greats as Vivien Leigh, Dame Edith Evans, Claire Bloom, Dame Peggy Ashcroft, Joan Plowright, Richard Burton, and also directed at the world-renowned Old Vic in Bristol. He’d also make memorable appearances in some of televisions “cult” classics; ‘The Avengers’, ‘The Baron’, The Champions, ‘The Prisoner’ and ‘The Saint’.

In the mid-to-late Seventies, he played to sell-out audiences at Vienna’s English Theatre, and was cast as General Klytus in the sci-fid blockbuster, ‘Flash Gordon’. Latterly, he had returned to TV in ‘Doctor Who’, ‘The Hammer House of Mystery and Suspense’ and ‘The Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes’.

Peter passed away on January 15th, 2018.

Famously played Romeo in Franco Zeffirelli’s (1968) award winning, internationally acclaimed film version of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet opposite Olivia Hussey (Juliet). The part of Romeo earned Leonard a Golden Globe award.

Master Class: Romeo and Juliet

For schools and universities – Leonard Whiting – Acclaimed internationally for
his interpretation of the role of Romeo in Zeffirelli’s Academy Award winning film, Romeo and Juliet – Will be conducting Master Classes in Shakespeare with specific reference to Romeo and Juliet.

Ever since cameras begun to roll the works of Shakespeare has inspired filmmakers to transfer his plays from stage to screen. Informed by his range of experience on both stage and screen, as an actor, writer, director and producer – Leonard Whiting brings his unique perspective to bear upon the subject of Shakespearean cinema. Utilising film clips and penetrating analysis he engages his audience in an exiting exploration of the Bard’s work.

Leonard has taught Shakespeare around the world from Great Britain , America to Russia and South Africa. The Master Classes are always tailored to the school or universities requirements. These range from a one-off class to weeks of classes. The sessions are normally about two hours long and aim to impart a love and understanding of Shakespeare’s works (iambic pentameter).
